ABOUT

Camping the States as a kid, popping through Europe, sojourning in Switzerland, surviving New York City, and now permanent caretakers at an impermanent artist residency, I often wonder how many connections I've missed. When I rode the subway, there were a great variety of people all around me. I wondered what their stories were, and sometimes I asked them if I may paint their portrait. This project started as a metaphor to ask to search their features, and particular histories, with pigments and brushes. To remember the connections I've made... before I transfer.
